Welcome to the Office 2024 Professional Plus LTSC instruction page. This page contains downloads and steps.

First, remove the current Office on your PC
Before starting the installation, first uninstall any existing Office applications on your PC. This prevents many complications that can arise during the installation. You can manually remove the existing Office installation through your own settings, or you can use the handy "Office Uninstall Tool" below. We always recommend using this tool to ensure everything is completely removed.

Installing and Activating Office 2024 Professional Plus

1. Double-click the downloaded file with the left mouse button

Double-click the downloaded file to open it. The downloaded file looks like this and is located in your Downloads folder:

2. Start the installation

Now click the " Install " button. The installation file will be extracted, and the official Microsoft installation will begin.

3. Open an Office application

After installation, you can search for and open an Office application such as Word, PowerPoint, or Excel using the Windows search bar.

4. Go to the 'Account' tab in the Office application

Click " File " in the top left corner, then " Account " on the left. Now click "Change Product Key." Enter the product key you received by email.

5. In the Activation Wizard, select 'Activate by phone'

When the Activation Wizard appears, select "I want to activate the software by telephone" and click Next. ( Important : Only telephone activation works!)

You will now see the following screen:

4. Go to https://visualsupport.microsoft.com/ and click 'Let's get started'

5. Complete the captcha puzzle (the icons may differ from the example below)

6. Log in with your Microsoft account

7. Click on 'Activate a Microsoft product'

8. Choose Microsoft Office

9. Select 'Windows'

10. Select 'Office 2024'

11. Enter the Installation ID

Note: The installation ID below is just an example . Always use the installation ID that appears for you.

12. Click "Submit." Microsoft will now generate the confirmation ID . Enter it here:

Click 'Next'.

Congratulations! Office 2024 Professional Plus is now ready to use!

Optional: Change language to Dutch

By default, Office uses the language set in Windows. In some cases, you may need to change it manually.

Open Word. Click on > File > Options > Language > Add Dutch > Set as preferred language > Restart Office.
