First, remove the current Office on your PC
Before starting the installation, first uninstall any existing Office applications on your PC. This prevents many complications that can arise during the installation. You can manually remove the existing Office installation through your own settings, or you can use the handy "Office Uninstall Tool" below. We always recommend using this tool to ensure everything is completely removed.

Installing and Activating Office 2021 Professional Plus
1. Double-click the downloaded file with the left mouse button
Double-click the downloaded file to open it. The downloaded file looks like this and is located in your Downloads folder:
2. Start the installation
Now click the "Install" button. The installation file will be extracted, and the official Microsoft installation will begin. The installation is in English. After installation, Office will automatically switch to the correct language for your PC.
3. Open an Office application
After installation, you can search for and open an Office application such as Word, PowerPoint, or Excel using the Windows search bar.
4. Go to the 'Account' tab in the Office application
Click " File " in the top left corner, then " Account " on the left. Now click "Change Product Key." Enter the product key you received by email.
NB: Do you see a window with the Activation Wizard? Then proceed to step 5. If you don't see this window, the activation has already been successful and you don't need to do anything else.
5. In the Activation Wizard, choose 'I want to activate the software over the internet'
Congratulations! Office 2021 Professional Plus is now ready to use!
Optional: Change language to Dutch
By default, Office uses the language set in Windows. In some cases, you may need to change it manually.
Open Word. Click on > File > Options > Language > Add Dutch > Set as preferred language > Restart Office.

Why do I get a message that the limit has been reached when I activate?
This message appears because this license can only be activated by phone. To do this, follow step 3 of the instruction guide.
Why do I see a different version of Office after installation?
