Office 2021 Professional Plus installation page (Windows)

Welcome to the instructions page for Office 2021 Professional Plus (Windows). This page contains the downloads and the corresponding steps.

First, remove the current Office on your PC
Before starting the installation, first uninstall any existing Office applications on your PC. This prevents many complications that can arise during the installation. You can manually remove the existing Office installation through your own settings, or you can use the handy "Office Uninstall Tool" below. We always recommend using this tool to ensure everything is completely removed.

Download Office 2021 in the language of your choice:

Office 2021 Installation and Activation

1. Open the download files

Start the installation by running the downloaded setup.exe. This is a click-to-install installation, so the process will run automatically.

2. Open an Office application

After installation, you can search for and open an Office application such as Word, PowerPoint, or Excel using the Windows search bar. Then enter the product key you received by email.

3. Activate the software by phone

When the Activation Wizard appears, select I want to activate the software by phone and click Next. ( Note: Only phone activation works! )

You will now see the following screen:

4. Go to https://visualsupport.microsoft.com/ and click 'Let's get started'

5. Complete the captcha puzzle (the icons may differ from the example below)

6. Log in with your Microsoft account

7. Click on 'Activate a Microsoft product'

8. Choose Microsoft Office

9. Select 'Windows'

10. Select 'Office 2021'

11. Enter the Installation ID

Note: The installation ID below is just an example . Always use the installation ID that appears for you.

12. Click "Submit." Microsoft will now generate the confirmation ID . Enter it here:

The confirmation ID below is an example . Do not copy it.

Click 'Next'.

Congratulations! Office 2021 is now ready to use!

Optional: Change language to Dutch

By default, Office uses the language set in Windows. In some cases, you may need to change it manually.

Open Word. Click > File > Options > Language > Add Dutch > Set as preferred language > Restart Office.
