Welcome to the Office 2024 Home & Business for Mac & Windows instruction page
On this page we explain step by step how to install and activate Office 2024 on your Mac. There is no Direct download – you link the license via your Microsoft account and can then download Office from your account environment.
Step 1 – Go to setup.office.com
Open the website https://setup.office.com in your browser.
Step 2 – Sign in with your Microsoft account
Sign in with an existing Microsoft account or create one for free.
Please note: You will need this account to activate your license and download Office.
Step 3 – Enter your product code
Enter the license code you received from us. Then click "Next."
Step 4 – Select language and region
Select your preferred language and region and confirm.
Step 5 – Download Office for Mac
After activating your license, you'll see a download button for Office 2024 for Mac in your Microsoft account. Download and open the installation file (.pkg).
Step 6 – Install Office
Follow the steps in the installer. Once finished, you can open Office apps like Word or Excel via your Launchpad or Finder.
Step 7 – Activate Office
When you open an Office program, you'll be prompted to sign in again with your Microsoft account. After signing in, Office is automatically activated.
